Pregnancy Massage
Wisdom and holistic support tailored to the many transitions throughout pregnancy.
A calmer body, a steadier mind
Pregnancy massage is gentle, therapeutic bodywork designed to support your changing body and help you feel more comfortable, grounded, and cared for as you move through each trimester.
“Providing wisdom and holistic support tailored to the various transitions (changes) throughout pregnancy.”
How it can help
Relieve tension
Eases common tightness in the back, hips, shoulders, and legs.
Support circulation
Encourages healthy flow and may reduce the “heavy” feeling in the body.
Improve rest
Calms the nervous system to help you unwind and sleep more deeply.
Emotional grounding
Creates space to breathe, reset, and feel supported during change.
Every session is adapted to how you feel that day—your comfort and safety come first.
Client testimony
“I went to Jennifer during my second trimester and received a prenatal massage. Upon arriving I felt so at ease with her knowledge of anatomy and physiology. She talked me through my concerns and explained how she was going to approach each of my aches and pains. During the massage I felt truly cared for and relaxed. So much so that I fell asleep on the table! In my previous pregnancies I received prenatal massages from other professionals, but none of them were as relaxing and actually gave lasting results. I loved my experience with Jennifer and I recommend her to anyone who is in need of massage therapy.” – Victoria C., Travelers Rest
The massage process
1) Intake & intention
We begin with a few questions about how you’re feeling, any areas of discomfort, and what you’d like most from your session.
2) Comfort-first positioning
You’ll be supported with pillows and bolsters so your belly, hips, and back can truly relax. Pressure and techniques are always adjusted for pregnancy.
3) Therapeutic bodywork
A soothing, therapeutic flow focused on relieving tension and encouraging relaxation. If you have specific areas (low back, hips, neck/shoulders, legs/feet), we prioritize them.
4) Integration time
You’ll have a few quiet moments to rest before you get up—helping your body absorb the work.
Suggested timing (optional)
If you’d like a simple rhythm for prenatal care, many mothers enjoy sessions during:
- 27–30 weeks — support as the body noticeably shifts
- 32–34 weeks — relief as weight and fatigue increase
- 36–38 weeks — grounding care as you prepare for birth
(These are common windows used within the “Family Membership / Childbearing Year” care plan.)
A few helpful notes
What should I bring?
- Anything that helps you feel comfortable (water bottle, hair tie)
- A note from your provider if you’ve been advised to do so
Is pregnancy massage right for me?
Most clients can safely enjoy prenatal massage, but if you have a high-risk pregnancy, complications, or any concerns, please check with your healthcare provider first.
Your comfort is always the guide—pressure, positioning, and focus areas are adjusted with care.
